I remember someone had a transfer hose to fill from a main co2 cylinder to a smaller cylinder. Has anyone information on where to buy such a hose? Price?

I use soda stream bottles to supply my old man with beer, another for a good mate (he's a plumber so gotta keep in the good books), and one for a party keg. I don't want to be exchanging 3 bottles at K-Mart on a regular basis.

Cheers

MAH,
Just buy him a fire-extiguisher and offer to fill it for him

Just bumping to the top to see if anyone else has some info.

yeah the US place is a bit expensive, so I will be
speaking to places like pirtek for hose..they can attach connectors to the hose

valves & connectors can easily be found for high pressure applications.

I will have a hose fabricated with fittings attached..the valve used by the US lot I linked to is a typical looking ball valve with female fittings on it.

I think this would be easy to replicate

nah I have not seen that page...but yeah that's pretty much what I'll be doing...except I will put on a purpose specific ball valve for quick shut off capability...

...I'm still looking.

Found this ... talks about types of connections, gas volumes in liquid co2, diffs in filling cylinders and extinguishers ...

co2 info and how to refill

A lot of tech stuff, but the first bit was informative ;)

That transfer looks the goods!!

Sorry MAH I just found this post , it was me.

They have them at Andale , but I got mine (bit cheaper) from Ultimate Air Perth
Not cheap they are well over $100 but they are high pressure braided line.

Mine paid for itself in no time as I could decanter from C02 bottles at work :p

You need to buy the hose and fittings separately.

Oh , when I told Andale I was going to fill bottles with it they didn't want to sell me one , Ultimate Air were Ok
