Cling Wrapped

Cheers bum that has cleared it up for me. I have never made a ginger beer, so have never seen any thing like that.

PS: I glad wrap all the time (love being able to see what is going on) and never prick it, can't see how a small hole would let any gas out.

Excuse my ignorance, but when using cling wrap on fermenter (not lid) what do you do to let gas escape and keep nasties out??
