Thanks! Wasn't too concerned, got too much on my plate to worry about this. It's for a collaboration brew with some friend that are getting into kits, so thought I would dazzle them with all grain :).

Never had a problem with a parcel locker, and getting it redirected to my home address is problematic as they don't seem to like going there either if past attempts are anything to go by. Which is the lesser of two evils :)

Anyway, totally chilled and 9:30 isn't too early to start drinking at work is it?

This time of year? Definitely not.

Any other time of year? Still fine.

After much ado about nothing (you can draw your own Shakespearean conclusions on this one... ), we've finally got our web developers to incorporate the facility to specify grains to go into a specific batch/bag & have them pre-ground &/or mixed for you. All you have to do is tip it into your mash tun & away you go.

It's been a long road & our brothers at Brewshop in NZ are going nuts over this, as they've been crushing & individually packaging 100g of this, 245g of that, 475g of that & 5Kg of the base malt individually for a long time.

Now we can put-together an entire recipe for a customer in one pass through the mill. :beerbang:

Believe me, it's a shitload easier for us & the customer to just specify grains for a recipe & have them all in one bag (saving the planet from plastic bags).

I might get home earlier in the day, too....

Bloody good job. Just tried it out and it works a treat.

Fresh yeast! Fresh Yeast!

Does anyone remember the Franco cozzo TV furniture ad's in Melbourne, or am I showing my age??

WLP yeast Vault Melbourne WLP059 & a swag of other stuff just in.

Jump all over it like a big black Rottweiler in heat.

Here's sommat I wrote MANY years ago for your amusement:

Would I root on a Cozzo bed?
Quite frankly, Spiro, I'd rather be dead!
But with that clearly stated & taken as read,
Necrophilic thoughts have my pulse in the red!

It's really a muchness where you root, shag or ****:
The loos in an aircraft? The back of a truck?
But if "bed" is your "thang", then a Cozzo ensemble as your choice of repose
Is one of those niceties (kinda-sorta), I suppose..?

Swinging from the chandelier
with grapes between your teeth,
it has to be said, would be no mean feat
when you're sometimes distracted by
marble & chrome,
the fake leopard bedspread
& chirping trimphone.

I have sometimes wondered what demented minds
thought-up Franco Cozzo - and were they confined??
Or maybe they knew (those marketing dogs)
that in order to cater to Ities & Wogs,
That nasty & cheap was the word of the day?
They'd be fitted for concrete shoes if I had my way!
Gaudy & nasty (as if you can't tell)
Is the stuff that's glossed-over by the salesmen from hell.

Who cares as long as it fits in your white-columned mansion,
With the mirrored staircase & wrought-iron gates.
It declares to the world that the bank's got you to ransom,
which is why Grappa's made at the end of the grapes.

(not to mention the hire-purchase agreement you signed with that "Special" 12-months interest free period [at 18% residual back-dated to the date of purchase if you default on ONE lousy payment] 'cos the plaster of paris lions on the bedstead match the ones on the gate posts!).

And therefore young people, we have to conclude

(but WAIT there's more! How would you like a free set of Ginzu steak knives?)
That the fun to be had in the buff or the nude,
is often best done with a friend or a pal.
Location don't matter, a guy or a gal.
As long as you know, that how near or how far,
The neighbours wont hear you -
When your friend starts to Baaaa!

Whatever the location,
A frollicking fiesta of Franco-flagellation & fornication?
A cornucopia of Cozzo-copulation?

And also, alliteration!

The endless permutations
Of erotic gyrations
& oral libations
(the mutual gratification of cunnilingual titillation & concurrent fellation)
Is the most fun-filled way of preventing gestation.

The marble & fibreglass gross imitations,
& the possible audio/visual stimulations,
The eerie sensations
Of multiple penetrations
(without protestations? Hmmm...)
& Marilyn Monroe's favourite - Colonic irrigation
Should really be given further considerations.

After all, curiosity IS my inclination....
(or perhaps by now you think I need an escalation of my medication?)

And so...

With much consternation & cogitation
with Cozzo conjugal connotations,
I ask you to give consideration to the contrition that we are all guilty of:

Floccinaucinihilipilification!

Oh great and noble Cleverest One, I'm wondering whether there's any chance Clever will stock the Voyager malts? I love them, but getting them here is a pain and expensive. Cheers!

BOW before my magnificence or suffer a painfully slow sparge:hairout:

We're going to talk about all sorts of stuff when The Boss crosses the ditch next month to judge at Vicbrew. That's one of the agenda items.

One way or another, you'll know.

FREE LIQUID YEAST!!!!!

Yep, you read that correctly. We're giving-away a few strains of Whitelabs yeasts that we've recently pulled from stock, as they got within a couple of weeks of their BB date (most are still within date & won't even need a starter). This is to make space in the fridges for the new incoming shipment from Whitelabs.

When you place your regular order (that's why you're here, right??), just leave us a note in customer comments which ones you'd like (in order of preference) & we'll include it with your other stuff for nix....... Whilst stocks last, limit one per customer.

Here's a list of what we've got available:

023 x 1
510 x 1
540 x 1
568 x 7
648 x 4
653 x 3
650 x 3
645 x 3
006 (Vault) x 2

We've got a few other obscure stuff (like wine yeast, sake, mead etc., but if you want any of that, you'll need to call us to find out what we've got).

Gentlemen, start your engines!
