Cinnamon and vanillia

    I was wanting to add cinnamon sugar and vanillia essence to an imperial stout I brewed. 2can extract brew (coopers stout and dark ale) it's quite bitter. I'm going to add lactose as well.. hoping that will mellow out the bite. Just wondering how much cinnamon and vanilla to add.. planning on aging in bottles untill xmas

    I'm doing a recipe with Vanilla and Cinamon for christmas too. Been umming and erring over lactose. Will probably depend on my mood on brew day.

    I added 15ml of vanilla essence. 120 shakes of my cinnamon sugar. And about 200g of lactose... and it was perfect. The beer is by no means spicey.. I'm actually wondering if I should add more.. but it went from quite rough and bitter. To amazingly drink able
