I have a bottle of the Chimay GR year 2000 and was planning on drinking at an upccoming special occasion.
A friend suggested that maybe it was worth hanging on to as an investment of sorts.
Not really sure as it wasn't a "limited edition" or anything special.

So......

Hang on and make a few bucks <_< or...
Stop being a wanker and drink the damn thing :p

Help!!!

Cheers

DRINK IT :chug:

definately drink it.
You'll know when the time is right..!!
(buy property to make some money...maybe)

i had the same dilemma with wines
i had all these bottles signed by the winemakers etc. Maybe in 20 years make a few bob. Then they started to hit the sweet spot of 7-10 years old.
I'm keeping the empty signed bottles now :)

DRINK IT!

Maybe you should reculture the yeast ,if it bottle conditioned that will save you $15 for you next Belgian

Pumpy

drink it if u dont want too drink it i will drink it for u

you probably should have bought 2 at the time of purchace Quincy....
although you would still drink both just several years apart....!
yum

I say go out and buy 4 bottles of 2005 Grand reserve, drink one of them at the same time as the 2000, to compare the improvement, put the other 3 down and drink one in 2 years time, the other in 5 years time and sell the 4th in 2010!
