Hi all,
I have 2kg of nice local tassie cherries in the freezer and was thinking of putting down a cheery stout or dark ale. Iv been brewing extract for a while but havnt had alot of experience making my own recipes, so would love a few suggestions.
I was roughly thinking something like
2 x cans dark extract
2 kg cherries steeped to sanitise, remove seeds, puree and add to fermenter
250g steeped specialty grain
maybe also some steeped roast barley
and add to yeast cake of wyeast irish ale 1084 that i have for a red ale currently in the fermenter.
Any help or advice from some of you more experienced fellas would be very much appreciated. Also to a cant use any of the recipe designer pages on my laptop, not sure why.
Thanks in advance. Campo
