hi folks,,

Just been trying out these carbonation drops and am finding they carbonate the beer ok but not real fizzy probably good for ales etc. Has anyone else found the same thing as I'm thinking of adding a little extra sugar (bulk prime) and add the drops. For info I'm adding 1 drop to a 375ml and 2 to a 750ml and my temps etc are all good for yeast..and I'm waiting 6weeks..

I found the opposite, I found them to be nearly too much for my lagers. This was after leaving for a good month or maybe too, maybe just leaving for a little longer will do the trick?

I wouldn't be adding more sugar, could be a good recipe for a bomb..!!

I like eating them. Its hard to find good old fashioned boiled lollies anymore.

i actually prefer now to use the calculator in promash for my priming amounts as i was getting too much overcarbinated beer from the grumps guide
