Looking at setting up my shed for brewing. There is a water supply from a tap on the outside wall of the house that has a garden hose attached that is also in pvc pipe that goes under the shed slab to an existing toilet in the shed. I've read that garden hose may leach lead into the water, so I was thinking of running some food grade hose from the tap to the shed. Then I thought that instead of doing that why not attach a filter to the garden hose, it may actually enhance the taste of my beer? Any thoughts?
