Hi guys,

I put down a brew a few weeks back and have only recently gotten back home on Thursday. I crashed chilled it on Friday after adding some hops to it on Thursday night (I know it not a lot of time)

Anywho, I want to have this kegged ready for Monday (kicking back making woodfired pizzas in the backyard) I have read some articles on here about using some gelatin to clear out the beer quickly. I have never done this before and am a little apprehensive as most posters say to heat to 75c for a good 15 mins or so and chuck straight into the fermenter (no need to chill). I'm really not sure about it??

Also I will force carb this beer, what's the best method to get it carbed ready for Monday?

Cheers

just Ross method that bad boy, it'll settle over the next few days.

if chilled, gas to 30 PSI, leave it connected but turn the gas off and shake it for 90 seconds and then gas to serving pressure, pour one to test, if it needs a little more then give another 30 second shake until it's ready.

I havnt got into the gelatine, seems the beer clears by itself after a few are poured / couple of days.

All I do with gelatin is boil the kettle let it cool for a bit pour 300 ml into a jug one or two teaspoons of gelatin in stir till dissolved and pout into keg. Put beer in on top gas it whichever way you want and it will clear in a day or si. First pint will be mud but clear after that.

Yeah I find if I keg, gelatine and forcecarb on one day, half way through the next it's clear (and gassed obviously).

So as mentioned, hit it today or even better now and you will be good to go tomorrow.
