Unfortunatly I am forced to use a Mac to try and burn my MP3 songs on my HDD to .wav files for a normal audio CD. This stupid machine will only burn them as aiff files, which is unplayable in a normal CD player.

Does anyone know how to do it.

And yes iTunes sux balls.

in itunes. put files in a playlist, select burn playlist to disc. then select audio cd and you can adjust your setting to get the desired result. other that that export the files in the format you want the put in a folder and ether use toast or the os to burn to a disc.
not 100% sure on using the os to burn to disc.

Applications / Disk Utility

New -> Image from folder ... then select the CD drive .. and specify output file.

Then to burn, select Restore, open image file... blank disc in ...easy.

Or use "Burn", its freeware

Use drutil in terminal.

From memory aiff files should play on a normalcy player but wav will not. I could be wrong though but it's my gut feeling.
