Hey Guys,

Just about to bulk prime my ginger beer and I am planning on using some brown sugar I have left over from the Mash.

Can anyone advise me on the pro's and con's of using this type of sugar and should I use the same amount as if I was using dextrose?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Curry,
I once had to use brown sugar when I went to bottle a beer and I realized I didn't have any white sugar about.
To me there was no difference in taste etc. I just used the normal amount for priming as I would have white.
My experience anyway.
