Having a closer look at the photo....
you could still repair it, leaving out the middle stem bit.

1/get some fine emery paper on a hard surface, and grind the bottom stub on the glass and stub on the base to a flat surface.
2/Apply your favorite adhesive.
3/wait a bit
4/drink beer out of your (now much shorter) stemware.

I will have to give it a go.

THe broken stem is missing a few bits. Im seriously considering getting it repaired. Will look up glass repairers on the new i think. Surly a new stem can be fitted to the glass

Will keep you posted.

any sugestions om places that may be able to do this... let me know. Its not a glass that you come by every day.

cheers

I had the same thing happen to a Delirium Tremens goblet that I stupidly decided to bring along with me to a night of drinking fine ales at a mates place, mainly due to the fact I was transporting it in a bag with my drinks. Never could be bothered to repair it, needless to say, i'm keeping my nice glasswear at home from now on.
