Hey guys

Another interview over the interweb!

This week I am speaking with a ripping bloke, Chris Sheehan from the Malt Shovel Brewery in Camperdown, New South Wales. Malt Shovel is the home of the James Squire range of beers and now acts as their research and development arm for all things craft beer. We have a great chat about the industry, Hop Thief 8, and the potential relaunch of Mad Brewers!

Cheers

Chris

Hey Chris,
Thanks for putting this together and posting it here.
It's a fantastic interview with Chris Sheehan - he's a great speaker & it was particularly good to hear about Hop Thief! (- it's what got me into craft beers).
Excellent piece of work :icon_cheers:

Thanks mate, appreciate the kind words.

Chris was a top bloke, ha was very giving of his time for a random no name blogger!!!

I really enjoyed his explanation for the changes in the HT8...it was something I didn't understand originally.

I am also excited to see what they do with Mad Brewers...I loved it when we used to release those, so much buzz around them...well except for the Ginger Beer!

Good work Chris! It was great to see the man behind the beers and he seems like a top bloke. Your interview really allowed his personality to shine through which was nice. Sadly the beer he was holding up to the light seemed a bit pale to be a HT7 :(

Keep up the good work and best wishes mate!

Did you not pick up on the (not so) subtle hints that it was actually the next Mad Brewers, perhaps.
Maybe you should re-watch the video, and share it with your friends to make sure!
:D

Yeah of course, but he also hinted earlier on that they might be bringing back some of the previous Hop Thiefs. I figured it might come out under the Mad Brewers label since revisiting an old HT sounds kinda "mad".
