Just saw the previews for extra (QLD - 5:30) and they have a segment on homebrew.

"The homebrew challenge" - this is all I know.

Just caught the tail end of it.

They had Western Suburbs Home Brew on it, they mentioned Tony, but i didn't see his face. And the "replica" recipe's they were comparing were all K&K recipes, some with instructions like "squeeze the grains"

No mention of AG, and professional beer tasters who like crown? :lol:

Not too bad.
It did sell homebrew short, but then again considering the market, it probably did it a favour.
What I mean by that is, while some people aim for a Crown Lager/VB replica, a lot of us aim a lot higher than that.
