Brisbane Amateur Beer Brewers - July Meeting

This month's meeting will be held tomorrow night, Thursday, July 27, at:

LYNNDON BOWLS CLUB, 47 GALSWORTHY ST, HOLLAND PARK WEST.

Doors open at 7:30PM. Guests and members of other clubs are most welcome.
There is a $6 entry charge to cover the cost of hall rental and snacks. If
possible, please bring a couple of bottles (or even a keg!) of your own beer
to share around.

The meeting will feature a talk about the new BABB Yeast Bank and culturing
from slants, by John Kennedy. We will also be running the Koelsch mini-comp.

BABB members are reminded that entries for the 2006 BABB Annual Competition
will be accepted at the meeting, or at Simon Frankland's home on Saturday
the 29th. Entry forms and labels will be available at the meeting.

A reminder also that 2006-2007 subscriptions are due, and that you need to
be a financial member to enter the annual competition.

A few of us kept going until nearly 1:00AM. A bottle of Barley Wine made an appearance. My record breaking run of broken glasses continues ... why, oh why do we have our club meetings on a week night????!!!!!
