Bringing back beer from OS

Any tips and tricks for bringing back beer from OS? My carry on is chock full though.

Can’t take liquid as carry on anyway unless it’s duty free, just pack it up in the middle of your suitcase and cross your fingers.

use plastic - tipping that's off the agenda. if it's homebrew declare it - you'll get through faster.

I've taken beer in checked luggage dozens of times, domestic and international. If possible I pack in cardboard box inside a suitcase, and if bottles or growlers ensure they are well-wrapped with cloth to eliminate movement or any hard surfaces. Cans are more forgiving but still worth protecting. At the minimum I pack inside socks. Never had any losses - have brought home everything from pliny to westvelteren.
