The Brigalow bottle capper at BigW which is the superautomatica is currently on sale at the moment for $39.98. Its usually around $50.00 and Ive never seen it sell under $40 even on ebay before with postage added.
I was being a tight arse and waiting until I found one on ebay cheap enough when today I went to Big W with the missus and stumbled upon this score.
Although I dont know why Im being tight when I spend at least $10 a day on different craft beers to try anyway. Cant wait until one of my brews is actually ready and tastes ok. :D

Hahahahaha!! Yes!!

I have had that dressing down from Her Highness regarding the spending on "luxury" products when trying to "save money" by brewing my own. I have used the excuse of the "artist library" meaning that I get free reign to sample other products to ensure the quality of my own product while still in the development stage. I've tried calling it everything from "inspiration" to "making sure those buggers aren't copying my recipe" as well as the old favourite "I just thought I'd get you a treat, luv"...

She ain't buying it so far....

I'll find a better approach soon enough, just need to be more creative I reckon.

HAHA Yeh luckily for me my missus likes trying new beers so when I buy a new craft beer and get her a couple as well the old, "Thought you might like this one hunny" seems to work well.
Although today when I bottled and she saw all my empties her reaction was "where did they all come from youve been buying and drinking a lot of beer lately"
I tried to say the guys at work had been saving them for me but shes not buying it..LOL

Cheers got one of these yesterday. They were still marked at $49 but scanned up at $39 so don't be put off by the price tag.
