I recently came across a fairly simple brewing calculator on the net which calculated OG and expected FG. It allowed inputs for malt extract, sugar, specialty grain and adjunct amounts and by assuming the fermentability of the ingredients it spat out an FG.
For all my searching i haven't been able to find it again and was hoping it might ring a bell for someone.
I realise this is rather a blas question. Is there a way of calculating it yourself? What are the attenuability of different malts?
