I see they have kegs with "race track lids"
anyone know what they are? :(

Apparently the racetrack lids are different to normal kegs in that they have corners unlike the oval lids of the corny's we all have. These kegs don't seal as well and parts are very rare.

Yeah, if I get a chance I'll put a pick on later.
Corny lids are eliptical, race track lids (like my firestone kegs) are oval like a racetrack ie their 2 long sides are parallel.

I am going to order a couple of those next week :)

My personal opinion is to steer clear of the race track lids. If they're selling at a discount to the industry standard there's a reason for that!

Australia is not blessed with the wealth of suppliers that the US is, so it's always safest to get what most people use.
