Well I finally got a pot that I can brew a full batch in. A 40 litre pot that will fit on the stove. I haven't done a "dry" run yet to check whether the stove has enough grunt.

The tap cost me $10 and the barb is a perfect fit for my siphon hose. If the pickup tube doesn't doesn't keep the crap out then its off with the stockings. Longer term I will put a stainless steel braid, apparently they don't choke on hop pellets.

Some poor ******* (me) now has to drain a full keg to make room for a new brew.

OHH poor you!!!...the drive is just a little too long to give you a hand to empty the keg
