Try Craftbrewer, I find them every now and again in newsagents ( Adelaide)but its hit and miss, I have found that some newsagents don't stock them as they are not " popular" and take up shelf space.
Not popular !, don't remember ever buying a knitting magazine let alone the No Idea.

You can buy a subscription from their website. They'll deliver to Australia.

Dont buy the phone app version of the mag
Phone is way too small to read happily

I subscribe direct from USA, and to the ipad edition too.

The app is pretty nice when you're stuck somewhere (train/airport/etc.) and want a diversion.
I keep asking them to sell back-issues digitally, but they don't seem to want to.

When I subscribed to the digital BYO I got access to all digital back issues to May/June 2012, which is as far back as they go digitally I think.

Zymurgy is the other magazine that might be worth getting, fewer issues a year, but their digital back issues start much earlier at December 2000 (although currently I've got issues accessing the app anyway)

Either way - the phone version is way too small, but good on an ipad

+1 for the hard copy subscription of BYO, $55 usd for a year I think.
