Bottle filler - put it together again - something wrong

Hi I have used this 50 times at least, and put together a number of times but cannot seem to do it again.. help! Am I going mad?

The only way it will seem to work is the inner piece out the end of the small end but then the large end won't fit the tube... ?
Seems so simple, I dont think anything has changed or there is something missing?

You have 3 parts including the tube. My bottle filler like that has 4 parts.
