Hi,

Currently have my first brew bubbling away in the garage in a tub of water with a wet towel.

I'm pretty sure I've read on this site, that after bottling you should store the bottles in the same temp that you fermented? Though I've been trying to search and I can't seem to find it again. Can someone please confirm this is the case? As I'm trying to decide if it's worth buying a temp control for the bar fridge to store bottles during second fermentation stages..while the yeast it's more sugar for bubbles.

Thanks.

Yep store them at fermenting temperature for at least a week. If using PET the hardness test will tell when carbed.

I don't have fridge space so I age and carb at room temperature no problem then just pop them in the fridge before drinking.

Yes best but not real critical. I do mine in the coolest part of the house...

Cheers

Then I may just hold off on getting the temp control until I get a fermenter that will fit in the bar fridge.

Thanks guys
