Black Rock NZ Draught

Evening all,

Just tried a batch of Black Rock NZ Draught I made a few weeks, is tasting pretty good, just a few questions.

Has anyone else had much experience with this particular kit? I made it with just the stuff in the can and 1kg can of Copper Tun Brewblend #20.
The beer has a bit of a caramel flavor, which although nice wasn't what i was expecting, any ideas where it has come from?

I haven't tried it myself, but did notice in the list of ingredients on the Black Rock web site it says it includes Caramel. Given brewblend 20 is likely just a mix of light DME, dextrose and maltodextrin, it's unlikely it was that...my guess is the caramel they've put in the can?

Malts - lager,crystal,black
Hops - Green Bullet, Pacific Jade
Caramel
Water
Yeast (under the lid)
