Hi,
I've finally got round to setting up a brewing fridge with a thermostat. I realise that I can't set temperatures exactly however I notice that most yeasts have a recommended range. For example, for my latest brew I'm using Wyeast 1318 which has a recommended range of 18 - 23 degrees.
For this batch I've got my fridge set to 18. Just wondering if setting the fridge to different temps within the recommended range has any noticeable effects?
How much difference is there between fermentation at 18 and say 23?
Cheers,
Chris
