I've cultured up some yeast from a few 'Belgian Blue Wheat Ale' bottles for a bit of fun but can't find any info on what yeast type they use, I'll probly just give it a go and see how it tastes but I thought I'd see if anyone has tried using it before or knows what type it is,
Cheers.

I'd be surprised if it's not a lager yeast (not the primary strain). Belgian Blue pasteurise and add back yeast (http://www.belgianbluebrewing.com/process/) and it's standard practise amongst a lot of brewers in Europe to use lager yeast for bottle conditioning.

Thanks Schoey,
Think I'll put them to sleep and save them for a rainy day experiment.
