Blame it on the fact that i've not had my morning coffee, but you dont click the red arrow thingy, you drag it! Took me way too long to figure it out... :blink:

Had a group of friends invite me to go along on the 7th October session, but for me that's Bathurst weekend, and im already booked in for another beer course (of sorts).

Anybody been along to this, or interested in going?

I dont know about this.

Its only a 2 hour course and cost $85.

And you go through all this in 2 hours.

presentation, glassware, handling and storage;
palate identification;
judging beer;
styles of beer;
the history of beer;
the art of brewing;
tasting;
food matching.

But dont let me stop anyone from going.

I'll take my $85 and go to the imported beer shop.

cheers

I've got to think the same Johnno... if you jump on iTunes you can spend hours upon hours listening to really good info about all of the above - how much can they jam into 2 hours really?

If it had been an afternoon, I'd have been more inclined. Seems like it's aimed at the drinking fraternity, rather than thwe brewers.

I did the course about 6 months ago - some of the food matching was interesting but I must say I agree with the other guys. I had already tried every beer they had.

It is mainly for people who are CUB or Tooheys drinkers and they consider Coopers as something REALLY different.

But still, who hasnt dropped $85+ on the bar in 2 hours? I don't recall the bartender doing much for my product knowledge either. <_<

Got a soft spot for coopers too, much kudos for not selling out to Lion Nathan
