Is that a hydrometer he's holding?

Bloke on the left looks like he's smoking a bong.

Wonder if he rehydrated his yeast.

Lends weight to the argument that agriculture was developed in order that we could brew beer.

The discoverer of Tunankhamun's tomb, Howard Carter spent some time in Spain before heading off in his search for the tomb, and took several trusted Spanish servants with him, due to the unstable tribal conditions prevalent in the area of the Valley of Kings at that time. He preferred not to employ locals who were prone to murder and tomb robbery.

He was usually referred to by the Spanish servants as El Carter.

That bong looks like a refractometer.

100% had nothing to do with this discovery except trawling a piss poor news site.

Ha, Sir Carter, shame, sirrah, disowning your great great great great uncle like that -_-

However I can well understand that you don't want the curse of the tomb following you.

Howard was also a brewer and we descendants understand his passion for craft brewing and continue to promote the cause to this day.

Screwy
