Has anyone named one of their children with a beer related name ?
I have another child on the way and we are working on names at the moment.

Abbey for a girl (as in Abbey Ales)
Sterling for a boy (as in Sterling hops).

Has anyone got any more ideas ?

My wife and I really like Abbey (but I haven't told her why I like it :p )

Fuggles ..... oh sorry that's what I'm going to call my next dobermann.

:)

Crystal -- girl

Saaz for a boy, but a bit of a handicap in later life :).

Cooper, or Padraigh (Paddy) for a boy! We had a Labrador at the pub I used to live at in Surrey named Boddington.
Matilda as in Bay for a girl.

Uncomfortably close to bad beer that name.

Crystal and Matilda for girls. Not really keen on either. Abbey still the clear favourite there.
Fuggles definitiely for a dog.
I like the sound of Timothy Taylor and Samual Adams for boys.

Keep the suggestions coming members.

Beers,
Doc

PS: Really need some more girls names ;-) (hint hint) just needed to keep the thread generic

There's that footballer named Hallertau, but i guess you need to be of certain origin to get away with that.

I could suggest Victoria, but i guess i'll get flamed.

Or James Squire for a boy.

Isn't there a character in The Nanny called CC?

Then there's Roger(s).

But I think you should be brave and really break new ground...

Chimay is a pretty name for a girl

Bock sounds strong and firm

Stein is sort of cosmopolitan

or my favourite, with mediaeval and magical overtones

Airlock.

My kids names contain the words 'ales' and 'grain', only a fluke though!
