I used to think that until I found the benefits of a women who only drinks about 1 drink a night (2 max) when we go out. No more arguing about who's got to drive home.

(She used to be a piss- head until the two kids. One of the few benefits for my social life of two ankle biters ).

Eh, people have been trying to blame the chips and nuts and so forth for years now, while I agree they contribute, so does the beer. Indeed, alcohol is fairly energy dense, though I guess that is why it pulls up favourably compared to a glass of wine.

Even worse, beer's come under attack from these newfangled glycaemic index based diets, as it purportedly has a high GI.

good point there tony. Plus i find living in the western suburbs, the women that drink beer also embrace the fine art of burping and farting.
