Interesting thing I was tlaking to my frined about, where he has this theory about beers, and the quality that people drink, etc.
He likened it very much to music. There are many people who would listen to pop music (ie commercial beer) and be perfectly happy about it, and consume it all their lives. However, otehr people would get into other music types (or better beers) and become more and more into niche products. They will lambast anyone who thinks the commercial stuff is good (and this is true for both beer and music); meanwhile, if someone who normally goes for commercial suddenly tries where this person has gone in regards to their niche tastes, they very wel might not like it because they are not accustomed to it.
