I'm going to be in Lismore next Tuesday, and will have a couple of hours to kill before my flight back to Sydney.
Is there anything beer/brewing related that I should checkout ?

A Google and Whitepages search hasn't shown up too much other than:

Still no tips for Lismore ? I'm off there tomorrow.
What about Orange ? I'll be there on Thursday but won't have quite as much time to kill.

Sorry for the late reply, just saw your post.

The Gollan Hotel in the Lismore CBD used to have a microbrewery attached to it. You could look at the kettles through the front window. Never tasted any of their product but might be worth a look. They should be listed in the white pages but I'll see if I can find the address for you and post it shortly.

If you can get down to Coorabell you won't be dissappointed (well, by the countryside anyway. Dunno about the brews). It's about 30 mins from Lismore & truly a beautiful part of the world - and I'm not just saying that because I grew up down the road at Ewingsdale!!

My family still live there and I'm still blown away everytime I get back up there.

Just done a quick google with the info of the Gallon Hotel.
According to this page however the brewery closed in 1996.

It was looking promising though :p

ah bummer. was a long time since I'd been up there.

Hopefully the Coorabell one is still open.

The Gollan Hotel is definitely no longer a brewpub. Aparently it got sold and the original owners took the brewery with them.
Had a nice lunch at the Irish pub across the road from the Gollan though.

Next stop Orange on Thursday, but there won't be enough time for sightseeing unfortunately.
