Just thought we could do a quick straw poll to see what are the most common batch sizes among the AHB clan.

I'll start - 50L.

23 litres into the fermenter.

Shawn.

40 Litres into the fermeters.

Beers,
Doc

Batch size = 23, => 20L into the fermeter. Would like to do 40L lager batches but the fridge is not big enough.

All my plans are heading toward 23 into ferm. Very soon to become reality B)

Usually 20odd (anything from 20 litres to 27 litres into the fermenter.. Occasionally 40 odd.

Different each time but lower limit is 20 l to fermenter and upper is 45 l to fermenters.

Maximum 23l, but increasingly as I preference taste over volume, the batch sizes are getting smaller in size, but bigger in taste.

3 weeks ago 22 or 45 litres

This week 1200 :)

And congrats. Looking forward to those fishy ales...

26L - enough to fill a keg & half a dozen tallies...

40-45 depending on wether I hit my efficiency or not
