G'day Guys

I brew with a mate, we mainly use kits/extracts, steep grains and use a variety of added hops. We had some mates over for a taste test and some non beer drinkers aswell. Ten different style beers about 150ml of each, rated, suggestions on flavour.
This was the winner

Aztec Warrior
1.7kg Mexican Cervesa Kit
1kg LDM
500g Organic Honey
30g Galaxy finishing hops under 5 min
Kit yeast to 20 litres 7.5%

hi mate, that sounds like a strong one for sure

did the alcohol come through as just a bit of bite and warmth or did you end up with any funny flavours in such a light coloured beer?

No alcohol taste a nice balance between malt and passion fruit hop taste slight aroma from Galaxy everyone who's had it asks for more. It's great easy drinker and will be making it over again and again, it's that good its early too only a month in the bottle, think it will be a early drinker not one to lager.
