Are cornelius keg disconnects universal?

Hi lads,
The title says it all. I have just purchased some coca cola pin lock kegs and have found a couple of different disconnects from various places. I want to buy the smallest ones i could (for height purposes in my fridge). I found some 6cm and some 8cm ones. I would like to get the 6cm ones if possible, but on the bottom of a similar listing it listed the disconnects as being for pepsi kegs. Here is the ones I am looking at

pin lock is different to ball lock. your kegs are pin lock, the ebay ones are ball lock.

= won't work. :huh:

hi mate,

if your kegs are 'pin lock' then only pin lock disconects will fit

your link clearly states 'ball lock' which are different to pin lock and will not fit to a pin lock keg.

their are two main keg types , pin lock and ball lock.

ball lock being the more universal type in australia but that doesnt mean they are better . just different

I think you can buy the actual posts if you want to swap your kegs from pin lock to ball lock , but it may be cheaper n easier to sell the kegs and buy ball lock kegs if height is going to be a problem in your setup
