Is there anyone in the NE suburbs of Melbourne who would kindly let me run about 4 kgs through their grain mill? Mine just clapped out before a brew, and alas there are no LHBS locally that are open. I'll happily pass on a few beers in exchange. I'm in Greensborough.

Fingers crossed!

Mat what is wrong with the mill? Is it not drawing in the grain?

Basically, it's a home made one I made using in old pasta maker following a DIY instructable online. It was useless and finally stopped working today. I only really got it working once, and even then the crush was rubbish and I had bad efficiency. It's now on the rubbish pile.

Ok, would love to help but I am a little too far away in Ascot Vale.

If you tried this request elsewhere I know of brewers in Hurstbridge, Macleod and other locations that may be able to help you out.
