Anyone used the AUS-05 yeast from Kegland?

Couldn't see any threads so assume there might be a reason for it, has anyone used it?

US-05 has been used by just about every home brewer on the planet, so nothing new.

i got a 500gm brick in a group buy about 2 years ago.
i'm not an expert, but there doesn't seem much difference to the us-05.
it does what it says on the box, i'm happy with it.

Titles of books and movies are not copyrightable (I'm going to name my forthcoming opus either The DaVinci Code or The Old Testament), and it may be the same with yeasts: US-05 and AUS-05. I'll watch for AUBRY-97.

Yeah was just curious if the claims about being propogated from US05 are true, significantly cheaper than a brick of US05.

when you get those large 500gm bricks they are in 1 x vacuum packed package and feel like a ........brick

when you open them, it goes all loose.
i have a vacuum machine, so i re-pack them in 100gm bricks.
