anyone live around the hunter valley?

Looking for advice on sourcing apples or even better - places that I can fill my fermenter with fresh juice.

I live in branxton and haven't had much luck searching on my own without driving to Sydney (or worse).

Not many apple growers in the Hunter. mines took care of that

Closest would be up in the mountains round Bilpin. Its a fair hike from the hunter.

You have a year to plan though as the season is now well and truly over.

I was buying seconds at an orchard at Kentucky. It's a couple hours drive for you. I seem to recall them at $7 a box. Box is 10kg or more from memory. I can't recall the contact details though, maybe ring the general store at Kentucky and ask them.

Nothing wrong with them as far as i could see.
