Found a recipe that sounded rather intriguing, an APA with orange and coriander (could turn out great or end up tasting like arse, but gotta give it a go! :) ). This is the first time I've even thought of deviating from a "tried and tested" recipe and I've only made basic changes to use the grains and hops I have on hand.

Anyone else used bitter orange peel powder in their beer before (LHBS only had powder)?

Any thoughts?

Here is the recipe I'm thinking of using:
Orange and Coriander APA (American Pale Ale)

Original Gravity (OG): 1.052 (°P): 12.9
Final Gravity (FG): 1.013 (°P): 3.3
Alcohol (ABV): 5.11 %
Colour (SRM): 6.2 (EBC): 12.2
Bitterness (IBU): 42.4 (Average)

73.21% Barrett Burston - Pale Malt
10.71% Crystal 20 (This is actually JW Pale Crystal Malt 45-55 EBC)
8.04% Weyermann Carafoam
8.04% Weyermann Vienna Malt

0.7 g/L Magnum (13.8% Alpha) @ 60 Minutes (First Wort)
1.2 g/L Cascade (6.7% Alpha) @ 10 Minutes (Boil)
1.2 g/L Cascade (6.7% Alpha) @ 5 Minutes (Boil)
1.1 g/L Cascade (6.7% Alpha) @ 0 Minutes (Aroma)
2.4 g/L Cascade (6.7% Alpha) @ 0 Days (Dry Hop)

1.2 g/L Coriander Seed @ 10 Minutes (Boil)
2.4 g/L Orange Peel @ 10 Minutes (Boil)

Single step Infusion at 66°C for 60 Minutes. Boil for 60 Minutes

Fermented at 18°C with Safale S-04

Notes: Carapils wasn't in original recipe (guy adding it used Crystal 40 instead of 10)

FWH for Robobrew as soon as sparging starts?
