American Propane Burners In Aus?

Been doing some reading, but I can't seem to find the answer to my simple question:

Do yankee home brewing burners/regulators plug and play with Aussie gas regulators/bottles?

If not, what is required to make it so?


(My brother is off to NY in a couple of weeks, so I have a shopping list for him.)

Jayandcath had this exact problem the threads are different, i remember he had a lot of heartache finding a hose to fit properly.

My NASAs are from America, they fit up to our hoses no problems. The reg where it fits to the lpg bottle is different, and I'm not sure if you can get an adapter.
