G'Day all,

I'm not sure if this is in the right forum for this but may I please make a suggestion??

One thing that is confusing the hell out of me are the acronyms you guys are using. If someone in the know could possibly put together an acronym list consisting of the most common used (and others) I think it would help a lot of newbies out. I am finding that some topics are taking me 30mins to read but should only take 5 mins and when I get to the end I have no idea what I have just read. :(

Am I the only one having trouble with this??

Booga.

Took me a bit when I first started here. (Still don't know a few)
I think that is a good idea, but it would need to be a permanent page so that people could reference it easily.
Lets see....ones I have used....
HB - Home Brew
HBS - Home Brew Store
LHBS - Local Home Brew Store
LME - Liquid Malt Extract
DME - Dry Malt Extract
LLME - Light Liquid Malt Extract etc
CPBF - Counter Pressure Bottle Filler
CFWC - Counter Flow Wort Chiller
AG - All Grain (not extract syrup)

You're spot on PM, it glows for a reason!!!

Search is your friend.

However, it is threads like these that makes me realise that we really need a centralised brewing resource/download section.

I'll look into this guys!!

don't forget one of the most important of them all

RDWHAHB (relax, don't worry, have a home brew) ;)

maybe I should send that to Grumpys - just have to decide on the right nom de guerre first

stu, just use RDWHAHB every time you respond to a trembling n00bie and the term will just catch on.
