Looking at replacing my solid sided BIAB bag because the cotton duck material I've used for the sides is starting to shrink and getting it over the sides of the pot is akin to wrestling a large and angry octopus. WHat I'm after is a synthetic material like Swiss Voille, but won't let the wort through. The cotton duck works well enough, lets a little through if you squeeze the buggery out of it, but for all intents and purposes, the wort drains through the bottom of the bag only and lets me sparge through it well enough to get 92-93% mash efficiency.

Anyone have any ideas where I could find something like this?

Cheers,

FB.

Ripstop nylon ?

i had to google cotton duck

This is ripstop polyester. Swiss Voille is polyester I believe. Should be ok at mash temps then!, and only needs a little modification.
