Tall Poppy IRA and IPA now pouring at Mornington Brewery, lovely!

As well as Modus Hoperandi from Ska Brewing. Chatted to one of the boys about 8Wired and they did a collaboration brew (IPA) with 8Wired brewer last week, to be released in a few weeks. :kooi:

Took the day of work and joined them on the collaboration brew day you know its going to be a good day when you are opening 5kg bags of hops to smell and help decide on which hops are to be used in the brew and discussing the aromas with Soren Erikson. Just say'n (Brag,Brag,Brag)

Didn't know about the brew day until today. Bugger! I hope you had a good day thebigwilk?

Yeah a little bit too much of a good day we were handed some beer tokens on arrival to be used on the day then we spoke to the head Brewer from Mornington he said don't worry about the tokens its pretty much open bar . When the brew was done we all had to decide on the name of the beer which was being brewed on the day it was an IPA fermented with 100% Bret. Names were put in a bowl at the bar and then read out and the loudest cheer would decide the name of the brew, needless to say things got a bit messy! I think the loudest cheer came when Soren yelled out to get everybody's attention "you lot up the back" will be interesting to see what name they actually go for. (Pretty funny day)

100% brett? I've never used it but wonder how it will affect all those wonderful hop notes?
