I'd give them a call if you haven't already. The website isn't always up to date & I've just ordered another $600.00 + worth of gear & it was all listed as out of stock on the website. I just rang & Sue took my order, sent me an invoice & its on it's way already. The 5 star elements are ultra low density too & the quality would most certainly leave that ebay one listed for dead.

I used one of those copper ones for a year in my 100L pot, no problems.
I've now upgraded it to one from Romar elements, only cos its a bit easier to clean

Thanks for the tip, turns out the 3600w elements are 2 weeks away.

Interesting - just checked out their website - was it the 'Double Ring Brewing Element' you went for? Can I ask what spec/how much?

Although I'm going to be heating 80L (as fast!) so I need to get 4200w + which will require 20A, and as I understand it going beyond 15A gets alot more expensive.
