Yep - borrowed your pic - much easier.

Just realised taht i typed wrong - i only have 2.

will edit the post.

mmmm they look like my taps will fit them if anyone needs taps

mmmm the gold looks good, do you have a pic of the chrome one? Will brumby taps fit these? If so, GMK or Ozbrewer do you have any taps and what $? What other taps do you recommend? Cheers!

u will need snaplock adaptors taht screw into the font.

I sell these as listed in the original post.
The grundy/ floryte Taps have a Male Shank on them that goes into the snaplock.

Brand New Grundy and Brand New Andale Floryte taps are 95.00ea (rec retail 110.00)

Hope this helps

Cheers for that GMK... would you recommend the grundy or floryte? I've heard the grundy is an easy pouring tap with low maintenance as it doesn't have a spring, how's the floryte go?

That is corect - Grundy less maint but it seals at the back.
Therefore the o-rings/lever/mechanism etc are open to the air etc.
Because it seals at the back - u get drips and have to wait a few secondas for the beer in the tap to empty.

Floryte seals in the spout - therefore the entire mechanism is allways in beer. Advantage with Floryte is that if u need a bit of head in the glass - u can give a quick half squirt.

Having said that - in USA they have just started making a SS Ventmatic Faucet and/or a perkins ( i think that is what its called) - it is like a Grundy but seals in the spout.

Supposed to be really good... USA dollars are 28.50ea plus freight.
www.ventmatic.com or Northernbrewer.com

I think i just did myself out of some sales....

lancer pacific have a grundy type that seal the spout

Not that I'm thinking of buying anything but I was looking at the link Ken left,
Northernbrewer.com, and it says the Perlink tap "is compatible with standard faucet locks" while the VentMatic is not.
What exactly does that mean?
If I ever do decide to buy a tap like either of those, will it fit the same shanks that my grundy's are attached to?

HI GMK,I LOVE THE CHROME ONE WHATS THE POSTAGE TO BUNDABERG,ROUGHLY?

You will need to buy a Snaplock Shank and collar - around 25.00 ea Brand new.
Then they will fit into the snaplocks.

GMK, I'm very keen on the chrome font... I've emailed you! I have heard good things about these ventmatic taps from a brewer mate of mine, so I might have to give them a shot!! The taps are cheap but postage is pretty expensive!! It's $28US for surface mail (6-12 weeks!!!!!!!!!!) or $40/$42 for airmail... (that's a quote from northernbrewer for 3 taps) Maybe a group buy would be an idea if anyones keen.... GMK do you have these Snaplock Shank and collars?

yep - the shank collars and shanks sell for 25.00 ea - so u need to add that to the cost - providing the male thread is standard - some say no some say yes.

starting to get expensive.

So is that 25 for the shank and 25 for the collar or 25 for both? I assume once you have those you can just screw it on?

it is 25.00 and that includes the shank and collar together

Thanks Ken. I've still got two of the snaplock shanks I bought of you a while back so no problem there. I wouldn't mind two of those Ventmatic taps, maybe three.
Shame about the postage costs though :(
