I picked up a 20 litre cube/drum from work that had contained sodium hypochlorite,
drum is great size for putting into my fridge without having to take a heap of stuff at to ferment.
The lid has lug type insert with 2 holes on the underside and a small hole in the lid, it looks to me like it would be to allow pressure
relief from chlorine gas, my thought is it could be used as an airlock, allowing co2 pressure out and keeping o2 out.
Does anybody know if that is what these lids do and if it would be suitable to use. I know glad wrap avoids the problem but
I was intrigued as I have never seen a lid like this before.
Sorry cant get any pics ATM.
