Funnily enough a bunch of stuff in there isn't on sale though. It has 0 saving listed. Almost like it shouldn't be included but is. Maybe it had a discount for price breaks added. The LME is one example that's not discounted but is 'on sale'. https://www.kegland.com.au/collections/on-sale

Heya KL, Would you mind reviewing your grain bill per kg prices? On almost everything you are cheaper than competitors but on grain it swings the other way. You are also the ones with the 'automated' grain dispensing system, everyone else is full manual yet they are still cheaper. And if...

"This plug and play temperature controller box has two clearly marked blue and red power sockets for heating and cooling so you can control a fridge or heating device at the same time to completely monitor and control the temperature. Each power outlet is rated to 10amp (2400 Watt max)."

Will they fit 4 corny kegs with spunding valves attached?

I believe the chamber calibration is only possible using the temperature probe, which you need to purchase separately. Early RAPT chamber vids showed how to do it...but definitely had the corded probe. I guess you could do the pill in the same liquid at the same time.

Will these new 4L kegs stand up right in a fridge door? Are they roughly the diameter of a 2L milk bottle?

A mobile crane would be great, so that you can move the brew around as needed...take it outside the garage to lift out the malt pipe and set it down, maybe chill down outside with the garden hose into an immersion chiller. Perhaps wheel the kit close to the fermentation fridge and pump the wort...

That's not going to work, it does away with the gas and liquid posts and the prv. But yeah, a 4 inch tri-clover compatible version of this would be ace for kegmenters! (but I've asked about it previously) FermZilla 2 Inch Tri-Clover Lid

    Melbourne LHBS

I came here to say this about KL. The 24 hour lockers are great if you order by 3pm on a weekday, duck down there whenever suits in the evening. Remember though, during business hours it's not really a homebrew store. Think of it as just a web store with pick up lockers. (you can swap gas)...

    Best time for dry hopping

    - whatever you whirlpool with is going to have potential for biotransformation - you can also add first dry hops at high krausen, again chasing biontransformation (...

    NEIPA grain bill?

You could just reduce your overall volume a bit, so you have a higher ratio of grain to water. Instead of 21 litres, you could aim for 19 (which could be as little as 15 after yeast and hop trub losses). You could also do a reiterated mash. Basically, split your larger grain bill in half...

    NEIPA grain bill?

This is the Ben's Lefty Juicy Neipa that Grain and Grape put out as an astounding FWK. I've made the kit a lot and also the all grain - it's terrific: 25L RO water at 71c 2 tsp calcium chloride 1/4 tsp calcium sulfate 4.2kg Joe White Gladfield Pilsner Malt 500g Simpsons Golden Naked Oats /...

Cool but I’m not after a bigger TC opening. 1.5 inch or 2 inch is fine…I was just wondering whether a ‘plastic’ kegmenter lid is proposed. The brewbuilt lid has 2 post and a tc but no prv. The new fz ‘plastic’ lid has tc, 2 posts, undrilled ports and a prv.

Is there plans for a 4-inch (kegmenter compatible) version of the new Fermzilla 2 inch lid? https://www.kegland.com.au/fermzilla-cupola-lid-2-inch-tri-clover-port.html I just noticed the brewbuilt pressure lid doesn't have a PRV.

It's in the works. They both have bluetooth on board but they aren't enabled as yet. There will be a firmware update coming to enable it on both. When that is...not sure...it doesn't sound soon. The Brewzilla gen4 firmware is getting lots of resources now as it has just been released and...

    KegLand Questions and Answers

I’m keen to get split batches into a rapt chamber but to also be able to dump yeast and dry hop. So yep, 2 all rounders would do all bar the yeast drop. I guess I could buy 3 and do a filter transfer off the yeast. But some skinnier/taller cornical style fermenters would be fun.

    How many use bottles?

I believe the home brew twang comes about from varied temperature fermentations. Rock steady temps make better beer. Bottle ‘conditioning’ secondary ferments don’t tend to happen inside a fridge…so there’s another place for interesting flavours to appear in rookie beer.
