Very interesting thread (excluding the politics). It would be really interesting to see some side-by-sides (same beer, same tube lengths) from people with different taps of anyone has the time. Lots of marketing when it comes to taps, but how much does it really matter?

Love the free to water. Only thing to improve would be the speed. Either that or allow some time to run so that you can be filling your car or something. Other than that great work and can't fault the price :p

These are the settings I now use in Doncaster (Silvan) in Brewfather. Not heavily tested.

Pin extraction on a SS reg would achieve this.

I've had difficulties with the fully enclosed method with high gravity beers myself and if using floating dip tubes it tends to eventually start to short circuit due to dip tube sucking some gas and eventually equalizing. Other than that if you have patience it works.

@KegLand-com-au Sodastream bottle for a minikeg setup direct off a check valve (it's about the perfect height). Sodastream -> reg -> mfl -> gas check valve. Played around with your mini reg and a eBay adapter to Sodastream but the lack of pin control makes it suck.

@KegLand-com-au Any chance you know of a single piece CGA320/Sodastream adapter, preferably one with a pin adjustment like your regular adapters? I've been searching high and low on all the usual suspects and yet to find a single CGA320 adapter.

@Wobbly1 whats your watering schedule? Mine have been getting ~4L per water twice weekly. A third watering if it's been a hot week. One less if it's rained significantly.
