    Beerbelly hopscreen as mash filter (batch sparge)?

    Anybody used a beerbelly hopscreen as mash filter for a batch sparge ? I figure it will work as the holes are pretty small. My mashtun is broken down and need a quick fix to possibly brew tomorrow (public holiday in WA). Cheers, Foles.

    2400w Electric Element - Are They Available With 1/2" Thread?

    Thinking about removing the screw in thermometer from my brewpot (1/2" BSP thread) and putting in a 2400W heating element.
