The problem is between co2 bottle & adapter. If you don't do it up tight enough co2 comes out the threads if you do it tighter it jumps the threads and you're back to the start having co2 coming out via the threads

Glad it's not just me then. I only got it on Tuesday, I wonder if they're making an effort to replace units already out there? But damn i was hoping to use it to take a sodastream bottle & mini keg to a bbq this weekend. Guess I'll be lugging the mini keg & bigger gas bottle!

Interested! How would you plan to ferment in the kegs? Cut a hole to enable cleaning & then enable the use of the corny lid to seal? Would that work without having the raised edges a corny has? And then drill holes to put in the posts? Remove the spar?

I'd be interested, what's the total cost per valve? Also what does that thread screw into ie how can you use it on a corny keg?
